This oil is a 100% variety, cold-extracted, extra virgin and low acidity. Kolympari oil has a mild fruity flavour and is suitable for both cooking and finishing. It works as well with meat and fish dishes as it does in a polenta or olive oil cake. Owned by native familkies, the i olive groves are still a family-run affair where all staff are actively encouraged to get involved with hand harvesting, tasting and quality control.
