All of our Olive Oil is produced in the north east of Crete, near Chania, where Koroneiki olives are native to the region and a protected species. This oil is a 100% variety, cold-extracted, extra virgin and low acidity. Kolympari oil has a mild fruity flavour and is suitable for both cooking and finishing. It works as well with meat and fish dishes as it does in a polenta or olive oil cake. Owned by native familkies, the i olive groves are still a family-run affair where all staff are actively encouraged to get involved with hand harvesting, tasting and quality control.
The Kalamata olive is a large, dark brown olive with a smooth, meaty texture, named after the city of Kalamata in the southern Peloponnese, Greece. Often used as table olives, they are usually preserved in wine vinegar or olive oil. Typically the term "Kalamata" legally refers to a region of Greece where these olives are grown
Olive oil soap
